ABOUT EFI

EFI was founded in 2013 and has made it its mission to help people find the assurance they need ever since. As a subsidiary of Excellent Fortune Development Group, a top multi-sector conglomerate with a presence in the financial, real estate, agricultural and industrial sectors, we are financially stable and well-capitalized. 

EFI received its life insurance license in 2013 and its general insurance license in 2018. Moreover, with an Initial Paid-Up Capital of MMK 46 billion, it is one of the first private insurance companies in Myanmar. 

Towards broadening the role of the private insurance sector in 2019, the Government of the Union of Myanmar directed that life and general insurance be carried out separately by sole proprietorships. As directed, Excellent Fortune Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (EFI Life) for life insurance business and Excellent Fortune General Insurance Co., Ltd. (EFI General) for general insurance business is being reorganized.

Today, we are a highly needed insurance company for the people of Myanmar to lead a stress-free and successful life. We build good long-term relationships with its business partners that can be mutually beneficial in accordance with the right actions. In the future, we aim to create a better and brighter future for the people of Myanmar.
